This painting is about the way we see the world. I wanted to talk about how we don’t ever experience true, base reality. We are possibly living in a simulation but in general, we experience a reflection of reality. The way a pond reflects the trees around it. It resembles it but its different from reality, the water bends the light and the image changes a little. Thats how our minds work, we take in information but change it in the process of understanding it.
