SHARK SERIES
Using data on shark catches, discards and mortality rates worldwide, researchers estimated that approximately 100 million sharks are killed per year by humans. However, they add that this is a conservative estimate, and the true number could be as high as 273 million sharks killed annually by humans. This series is dedicated to our oceans, to the countless species that we have abused and threaten with extinction. This series is also dedicated to the people who fight for our oceans, the ones who keep the hope alive and whose effort makes all the difference.
